On March 16, 2025, the All Ladakh Students Welfare Association Chandigarh (ALSWAC) organized a magnificent moral, intellectual, and scholarly gathering at Islamic Center, Mohali, Chandigarh. This enlightening event, which lasted from 5 PM to 8 PM, was attended by esteemed scholars and distinguished guests who shared their valuable experiences and guidance to nurture the intellectual growth of young minds.
This gathering, which was a perfect blend of knowledge, wisdom, spirituality, and morality, provided a profound learning experience for the youth. Among the prominent guests were Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour (Representative of the Supreme Leader in India), Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Taqi Haider Naqvi, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Jawad Habib, Maulana Syed Zia Abbas, and other eminent personalities. Professors from various universities in Ladakh and a large number of students also participated in this significant session.
The master of ceremonies for the event was Dr. Sultan, who conducted the program with great eloquence and professionalism, ensuring a smooth flow of discussions and interactions. His engaging and well-structured moderation contributed to making the gathering more impactful and enriching.
Welcome and Expression of Gratitude
The event formally commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Idris (President of the Student Union), who extended heartfelt greetings to all the guests. He emphasized the importance of organizing such academic and intellectual gatherings among the youth, recognizing them as a crucial means for intellectual and moral development.
Subsequently, Dr. Mohammad Taha expressed his thoughts on behalf of the students, appreciating the invaluable services of Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour. He extended deep gratitude for his guidance and mentorship, stressing the necessity for the youth to excel in both religious and academic fields. He stated:
“We must strengthen our connection with our beloved Leader of the Islamic Revolution and strive for continuous progress in both religious and intellectual domains.”
Insightful Speech by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour
The guest of honor, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour, began his address by quoting a profound saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He urged the youth to value knowledge, morality, spirituality, and the precious phase of youth. He remarked:
“Ladakh is situated at a high altitude, and therefore, its people possess a high level of intellect and wisdom. This land is fertile, and its youth have immense potential. I consider you all as my own children and hope that you utilize your youth wisely, adorn yourselves with the jewels of knowledge and piety, and play a positive role in societal transformation.”
Furthermore, he emphasized the need for balance between religious and worldly education and encouraged the youth to become role models through their character and actions.
Sheikh Jawad Habib’s Address: The Importance of Scholarly and Religious Training
Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Jawad Habib delivered a concise yet impactful speech, highlighting his eight years of scholarly and training services. He expressed deep appreciation for the continuous support and guidance of the Representative of the Supreme Leader. He stated:
“We must further promote this intellectual and religious environment so that our youth can not only refine themselves but also become beacons of light for their society.”
Special Session with Female Students: “The Status of Women in Islam”
After Maghribain prayers, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour held a special session with female students, which saw the participation of over 80 university students. This insightful discussion revolved around the status of women in Islam and the transformation of women’s academic and social status before and after the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
During his speech, he stated:
“Today, in Iran, the number of women in universities exceeds that of men by 5%. Women are actively participating in all academic, intellectual, social, political, and religious fields while upholding Islamic values. I urge all of you, my daughters, to focus on your education, specialize in your respective fields, and strive to become doctors, engineers, and experts in various domains. I look forward to seeing future specialists emerging from among you.”
He further encouraged female students to uphold Islamic principles while harnessing their intellectual capabilities and prayed for their bright and successful future.
Conclusion and Closing Prayers
At the end of the gathering, the President of the session extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Agha Mahdavi Pour and other distinguished guests. The students also expressed their deep respect and gratitude for their spiritual mentor, praying for his health, safety, and continued success.

اخلاقی، علمی و فکری نشست: آل لداخ اسٹوڈنٹس ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن چندیگڑھ (ALSWAC) کی شاندار علمی تقریب
16 مارچ 2025 کو آل لداخ اسٹوڈنٹس ویلفیئر ایسوسی ایشن چندیگڑھ (ALSWAC) کے زیر اہتمام اسلامک سینٹر، موہالی، چندیگڑھ میں ایک شاندار اخلاقی، علمی و فکری نشست کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ یہ بامقصد نشست شام 5 بجے سے 8 بجے تک جاری رہی، جس میں مختلف معزز علما اور دانشوروں نے شرکت فرمائی اور نوجوانوں کی فکری و علمی نشوونما کے لیے اپنے قیمتی تجربات اور نصیحتوں سے نوازا۔
یہ مجلس علم، حکمت، روحانیت اور اخلاقیات کا حسین امتزاج تھی، جس نے نوجوانوں کو فکری و روحانی روشنی فراہم کی۔ اس تقریب میں حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور (نمایندہ ولی فقیہ در ہند)، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین سید تقی حیدر نقوی، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین شیخ جواد حبیب، مولانا سید ضیاء عباس اور دیگر ممتاز شخصیات نے شرکت فرمائی۔ اس کے علاوہ، لداخ کے مختلف جامعات کے اساتذہ اور کثیر تعداد میں طلبہ و طالبات بھی اس علمی محفل کا حصہ بنے۔
اس علمی و فکری نشست کے نظامت کے فرائض جناب ڈاکٹر سلطان نے انجام دیے، جنہوں نے انتہائی عمدہ اور دلنشین انداز میں تقریب کو منظم کیا اور موضوعات کے تسلسل کو برقرار رکھتے ہوئے حاضرین کو مفید گفتگو سے جوڑے رکھا۔
استقبال اور اظہارِ تشکر
تقریب کا باقاعدہ آغاز جناب ادریس (اسٹوڈنٹ یونین کے صدر) کے استقبالیہ خطاب سے ہوا، جس میں انہوں نے تمام مہمانانِ گرامی کو پرجوش خیرمقدم کہا اور اس طرح کی علمی و فکری محافل کے انعقاد کو نوجوانوں کی علمی اور اخلاقی ترقی کے لیے ناگزیر قرار دیا۔
بعد ازاں، ڈاکٹر طہٰ نے طلبہ کی جانب سے اپنے جذبات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور کی بیش بہا خدمات کو سراہا اور ان کی سرپرستی اور رہنمائی پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا:
“ہمیں اپنے محبوب رہبرِ انقلاب اسلامی سے اپنی وابستگی کو مضبوط کرنا چاہیے اور دینی و علمی میدان میں ترقی کے لیے انتھک کوشش کرنی چاہیے۔”
حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور کی بصیرت افروز گفتگو
تقریب کے مہمانِ خصوصی، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور نے پیغمبر اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم کی ایک گرانقدر وصیت کے ساتھ اپنی تقریر کا آغاز کیا اور نوجوانوں کو علم، اخلاق، معنویت، اور جوانی کی قدردانی کی تلقین کی۔ انہوں نے فرمایا:
“لداخ ایک بلند اور بالا خطہ ہے، اور اس کے لوگ بھی بلند فکر کے مالک ہیں۔ یہ علاقہ زرخیز ہے، اور یہاں کے نوجوانوں میں بےپناہ صلاحیتیں موجود ہیں۔ میں آپ سب کو اپنی اولاد کی طرح سمجھتا ہوں اور امید رکھتا ہوں کہ آپ اپنے علم و تقویٰ کے ذریعے معاشرتی تبدیلی کا ذریعہ بنیں۔”
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ نوجوانوں کو دینی اور دنیاوی تعلیم میں توازن قائم کرنا چاہیے اور اپنے کردار و عمل کے ذریعے دوسروں کے لیے نمونہ بننا چاہیے۔
شیخ جواد حبیب کا خطاب: علمی و دینی تربیت کی ضرورت
حجت الاسلام والمسلمین شیخ جواد حبیب نے مختصر مگر جامع خطاب کیا، جس میں انہوں نے گزشتہ آٹھ سالوں میں انجام دی گئی علمی و تربیتی خدمات کا ذکر کیا اور نمایندہ ولی فقیہ کی سرپرستی پر ان کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا:
“ہمیں اس علمی اور دینی ماحول کو مزید فروغ دینا چاہیے تاکہ ہمارے نوجوان نہ صرف اپنی ذات کی تعمیر کریں بلکہ سماج میں بھی فکری و روحانی استحکام کا ذریعہ بنیں۔”
طالبات کے ساتھ خصوصی نشست: “اسلام میں خواتین کا مقام”
نمازِ مغربین کے بعد، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور نے طالبات کے ساتھ ایک خصوصی نشست منعقد کی، جس میں 80 سے زائد یونیورسٹی طالبات نے شرکت کی۔ اس نشست میں اسلام میں خواتین کی حیثیت اور انقلابِ اسلامی سے پہلے اور بعد میں ایرانی خواتین کی علمی و سماجی ترقی پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی گئی۔
انہوں نے بیان فرمایا:
“آج ایران میں خواتین کی تعداد جامعات میں مردوں سے 5 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔ وہ اسلامی اقدار کے ساتھ تعلیمی، فکری، سماجی، سیاسی اور دینی میدانوں میں بھرپور شرکت کر رہی ہیں۔ میں آپ سب سے گزارش کرتا ہوں کہ اپنی تعلیم پر بھرپور توجہ دیں، کسی ایک میدان میں مہارت حاصل کریں، اور اپنے شعبے میں ماہر بنیں۔ مجھے امید ہے کہ آنے والے سالوں میں، آپ میں سے ڈاکٹرز، انجینئرز، اور دیگر شعبوں کے ماہرین نکلیں گے۔”
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ طالبات کو اسلامی اصولوں کی پاسداری کرتے ہوئے اپنی ذہنی اور علمی صلاحیتوں کو بروئے کار لانا چاہیے اور روشن مستقبل کے لیے مسلسل جدوجہد کرنی چاہیے۔
اختتامیہ اور دعائیہ کلمات
نشست کے اختتام پر صدرِ مجلس نے حجت الاسلام والمسلمین آقای مہدوی پور اور دیگر معزز مہمانان کا پھر سے شکریہ ادا کیا۔ طلبہ و طالبات نے بھی اپنے روحانی مربی کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا اور ان کی صحت، سلامتی، اور کامیابی کے لیے دعا کی۔
اس پروگرام کی نظامت ڈاکٹر سلطان نے کی، جنہوں نے انتہائی خوبصورت اور مربوط انداز میں اجلاس کو ترتیب دیا اور اسے زیادہ مؤثر اور دلچسپ بنانے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔
یہ علمی و فکری نشست محبت، اتحاد، علم اور حکمت کی بہترین مثال ثابت ہوئی، جس نے نوجوانوں کے دلوں میں معرفت و بصیرت کے نئے چراغ روشن کیے اور انہیں دین و علم کے راستے پر استقامت کے ساتھ چلنے کی ترغیب دی۔
