Hawzah News Agency | The “Ahlul Bayt (a) Educational and Training Workshop,” organized by the Shaheed Mutahhari Intellectual and Cultural Center of Kashmir, concluded successfully with remarkable achievements. This workshop emerged as a prominent religious and educational model aimed at promoting religious awareness, strengthening social unity, and reinforcing moral values. With active participation from various social groups and special lectures delivered by renowned scholars, the program became an exemplary model for future religious activities.

Purpose of the Workshop and My Contribution

One of the primary objectives of the workshop was to bring the younger generation closer to religious and spiritual values. I had the honor to participate as an instructor, delivering a special class on the theme “The Need for Religion in Human Life.” In this session, I explained the significance of religion in everyday human life and offered practical solutions for deepening religious knowledge. The session lasted a total of nine hours.

Participants of the Workshop

The workshop hosted 56 participants from diverse backgrounds, reflecting its wide reach and influence:

1. Government school teachers – seeking to enhance their religious understanding and transfer it to their students.
2. Government employees – aiming to better comprehend the role of religion in society.
3. Religious students and scholars – eager to acquire deeper insights into Islamic teachings and theological discussions.

This diversity of participants highlighted the inclusiveness and effectiveness of the workshop.

Teachers and Lecturers

The successful completion of the workshop was made possible by the presence of several distinguished scholars who conducted daily classes and delivered lectures on various Islamic themes.

The main speakers included:

1. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Manzoor
2. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Muhammad Jan
3. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Bashir Bhutto
4. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Iqbal Hussain Mir
5. Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Jawad Habib

Additionally, nine other respected scholars also participated as guest lecturers.

Closing Ceremony of the Workshop

The concluding ceremony was held in the presence of prominent personalities and well-wishers, which further elevated the significance of the program. Key highlights of the ceremony were:

1. Attendance of distinguished guests and supporters
   Over 20 notable personalities and philanthropists from Kashmir attended the ceremony. They are among the leading supporters of the Shaheed Mutahhari Cultural Center, providing both financial and moral assistance to religious activities in the region.
2. Special participation of believers from Jammu
   A large number of believers from Jammu also took part in the closing ceremony, expressing keen interest in the continuation of such programs.
3. Special addresses by prominent scholars
   Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Ghulam Hussain Matoo, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayyid Zawar, and Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Jawad Habib delivered profound and insightful speeches, highlighting the following key points:

• The necessity of religion in human life
• The role of religion in shaping moral and social systems
• The urgent need to promote religious and educational programs

4. Reception and dinner
   At the conclusion, a dinner was served in honor of the participants and guests, offering an opportunity for interaction and exchange of ideas in a warm and fraternal environment.

Major Achievements of the Workshop

The workshop proved to be highly impactful and successful in several respects:

1. Strengthening religious knowledge
   Participants gained a deeper understanding of the practical application of the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (a) and the centrality of religion in daily life.
2. Providing a platform for intellectual exchange
   The workshop became an active forum where teachers, students, and professionals engaged in meaningful dialogue on religion and society.
3. Promoting unity and solidarity
   The participation of diverse social groups fostered collective spirit and reinforced adherence to religious values.
4. Encouraging charity and financial support
   The involvement of philanthropists underscored the importance of financial and moral assistance in sustaining religious and educational activities, paving the way for future initiatives.
5. Strengthening moral and spiritual values
   The teachings delivered during the workshop enriched the participants both morally and spiritually, helping to build a stronger religious community.

Conclusion

At the closing session, participants were awarded certificates of appreciation. The “Ahlul Bayt (a) Educational and Training Workshop” thus emerged as a meaningful and successful religious-educational endeavor, setting a benchmark for similar programs in the future.
